Customer Success Manager
Insured Connect (‘NIC’) is hiring a high energy, enthusiastic Customer Success Manager to work with its BGA customers and Agents to drive adoption and usage of the NIC Platform. We expect that our customers will see their Success Manager as a trusted advisor and true partner – encouraging customer teams to adopt best practices and leverage NIC to identify sales and service opportunities within the NIC platform. The end goal is a set of happy customers that see a direct positive impact to their business and make daily use of the NIC platform.
You will be taking on a ground floor opportunity and need to build out the best practices, training and communications programs to support NICs customers and users. You will be responsible for execution of the programs and adoption and usage of the NIC platform.
This is a remote position with potential for a some travel. The qualified candidate must be very independent, flexible and a self-motivated individual with extensive knowledge in the life insurance industry
Responsibilities & Duties
Develop and execute new user training programs, and support customers throughout the on-boarding process. Assist the BGAs in the roll-out and onboarding of their Agents including but not limited to: • Planning and executing marketing campaigns • Engaging directly with large offices to help create NIC advocates • Attending BGA conferences and events • Hosting webinars to communicate NIC to Agents Develop and execute programs including best practices that drive user adoption for both BGA and Agent users including telephone and email outreach. Create and execute marketing and communications programs to inform BGA and Agent users about NIC’s capabilities and solutions Ensure NIC customers and users continuously achieve the maximum value from their usage of NIC. Consistently engage with customers fostering knowledge of the customer’s product experience and strategic business needs Attend industry events to help promote the NIC platform to BGAs, Carriers and Agents. Serve as the voice of the customer and customer advocate to facilitate feedback and influence NIC products and services Provide early insight and adoption recommendations for new product features
Minimum Qualifications: • 5 or more years of relevant business experience working with a life insurance Carrier or independent BGA • Experience in life insurance marketing, sales or business development is required • Comfortable presenting to and demonstrating technology solutions to BGAs, Agents and Carriers • Clear understanding of independent life insurance distribution and the technology and processes for managing new sales and servicing existing Policy Owners. • Clear understanding and knowledge of the technologies used to support the processes followed through sales, underwriting, fulfillment and service for Carriers and BGAs. • Ability to travel as needed to client locations, industry events and company initiatives Preferred Qualifications include experience: • Marketing to life insurance Agents or working directly with Agents • Coaching and fostering change management • Rolling out a new technology platform • Working in small team environments
