Carrier Program Manager

Insured Connect is the creator of ‘NIC’, the life insurance industry’s most innovative in force data and policy service platform. We have established partnerships with most Life Insurance and Annuity Carriers, who provide in force data feeds to power the NIC Platform.

IC is growing and hiring a Carrier Program Manager to work with its Life Insurance and Annuity Carrier partners to expand the partnerships and enhance their data feeds. 

This is a remote position with the potential for some travel. We seek a very independent, creative and detailed-oriented individual with extensive knowledge of the life insurance industry and its products. 

Responsibilities & Duties

• Maintain relationships with key contacts at each Life and Annuity Carrier and serve as the primary point of contact for in force data feeds. • Facilitate the set-up of new data feeds by working with Carrier and IC data and technical teams. • Facilitate the setup of new Distributor data feeds by working with Carrier and IC Onboarding team. • Work with the IC data team to validate data feeds and to ensure data feeds are mapped correctly. • Reconcile data feeds with Carriers to identify missing and inaccurate data. • Provide the IC team with support for data investigations into missing and inaccurate data. • Assist the IC QA team to test new and existing data feeds. • Work with existing Carriers to enhance data feeds. • Provide internal and external reporting regarding the status and quality of all data feeds. • Work with IC to identify opportunities to enhance the platform value propositions by adding additional data attributes to Carrier and other data feeds. • Participate in industry working groups and associations focused on data standards, processes and best practises.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: • College or University degree in business, finance, computer science or a related field • Experience as a data analyst with 4 or more years working in the life insurance industry • Detailed understanding of all life and annuity insurance products, their purpose and their attributes • Expertise with ACORD XML and DTCC standards, with the ability to adapt to other industry-specific data formats • Experience working with large datasets • Strong foundation in SQL, with demonstrated experience in querying and analyzing insurance-related data using datasets

Product Manager/Scrum Master

Insured Connect is the creator of ‘NIC’, the life insurance industry’s most innovative in force data and policy service platform.  We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager/Scrum Master to lead strategic initiatives, roadmap development, and facilitate Agile Scrum processes.  The Product Manager/Scrum Master will collaborate across teams to develop product strategy, manage the product development lifecycle, and ensure the delivery of high-impact solutions that meet the evolving needs our customers. You will serve as a coach to the team, helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring the team is meetings its objectives consistently. This role requires a deep understanding of the life insurance industry, it’s stakeholders, products, business processes, technology and data.

 

This is a remote position and requires a very independent, creative and detailed-oriented individual with experience managing building applications in the life insurance industry.  

Responsibilities & Duties

• Work with the management team to refine the platform vision and road map and establish priorities that are aligned with the business plan • Gather input and feedback from all stakeholders to further define and prioritize feature development • Work with development, data and QA teams to coordinate development efforts and manage releases • Support development, data and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle with feedback, clarifications, requirements and prioritizations • Lead efforts to improve the user experience, incorporating user feedback and industry best practices to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product development updates, feature releases, and roadmap changes • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective • Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team’s progress • Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders • Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time • Ensure that the team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles

Qualifications

• College or University degree in business, finance, computer science or a related field • 4 or more years of experience as a product manager working with a life insurance technology company • In-depth understanding of the life insurance industry, the products, stakeholders, use cases and business processes • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices • Proven ability to define and execute a product vision, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate with development and data teams • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Marketing Manager

Insured Connect is an insurance technology company and the creator of ‘NIC’, the life insurance industry’s most innovative in force data and policy service platform.  NIC is a single, shared platform that enhances the effectiveness of life insurance carriers, distributors and agents.  Our mission is to digitize in force policy service for the life insurance industry.  We have established partnerships with dozens of life Carriers and most of the largest distribution organizations in the industry.  

 

IC is seeking a very creative and highly motivated Marketing Manager to join our team.  The role will encompass both corporate and product marketing, with a strong emphasis on collaborating with life carriers and distributors to drive adoption.  The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the life insurance industry, exceptional marketing skills and a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns.  

Responsibilities & Duties

CORPORATE MARKETING: • Develop and implement corporate marketing strategies to enhance Insured Connect's brand awareness and reputation. • Create compelling content for various channels, including website, social media, press releases, and marketing collateral. • Coordinate and manage corporate events, webinars, and trade shows to promote NIC. PRODUCT MARKETING: • Collaborate with the product team to understand the features and benefits of the NIC Platform. • Develop and execute product marketing strategies to highlight the value proposition for all types of users. • Create engaging product content, including videos, brochures, case studies, whitepapers, and product demos. CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT: • Plan, execute, and measure marketing campaigns to generate awareness and educate the life insurance industry about NIC. • Utilize various marketing channels, including email marketing, digital advertising, social media, and content marketing. INDUSTRY COLLABORATION: • Support our Carrier and Distributor partners with content and services to assist them to generate awareness and drive adoption amongst their networks of Agents, Producers and Advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in marketing in the life insurance industry with a strong understanding of the life insurance distribution channels. • Proven experience in corporate and product marketing, with a track record of successful campaigns. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders. • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including CRM, email marketing, and digital analytics. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Creative thinker with a passion for driving results and continuous improvement.

Customer Success Manager

Insured Connect is the creator of ‘NIC’, the life insurance industry’s most innovative in force data and policy service platform. 

 

We are seeking  a customer-oriented, enthusiastic, and driven individual to join our Customer Success Team as a Customer Success Manager. In this role, you will focus on promoting customer adoption, advocacy, and growth, with a primary emphasis on supporting life insurance agents and financial advisors. Our customers include insurance life insurance carriers, financial institutions, BGA/IMOs, agents and advisors, but your main goal will be to drive engagement and adoption among agents and advisors. As a subject matter expert, you will provide training, share best practices, address questions, resolve issues, and foster trusted relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a meaningful impact during a pivotal time for our organization.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Collaborate with BGAs to encourage agent adoption and optimize usage of services. • Design and implement marketing and communication strategies to promote NIC solutions to agents. • Provide comprehensive support to BGAs and agents, ensuring their success. • Offer proactive guidance to help customers maximize the benefits of NIC’s services. • Develop in-depth expertise in NIC products to educate customers about features and advantages, empowering them to use the solutions effectively. • Serve as a customer advocate by collecting feedback and relaying enhancement requests to internal teams. • Focus on high-priority activities to enhance customer satisfaction, drive product adoption, and support account expansion. • Promote product upgrades by encouraging increased adoption and utilization. • Represent NIC as a knowledgeable industry expert, educating customers on the company’s offerings and capabilities.

Qualifications

• A college or university degree in a relevant field is highly preferred. • 3+ years of experience in Customer Success, Sales, Business Development, or Account Management. • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and effectively communicate both internal and external perspectives. • Skilled in building credibility and trust by understanding and addressing customer needs. Strong phone, written, and verbal communication skills, with excellent presentation abilities. • In-depth knowledge of the life insurance industry, including products, stakeholders, use cases, and business processes. Demonstrated capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Confident, high-energy, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
