The NIC Program Manager is responsible for; i) getting NIC set up for your firm, ii) onboarding your staff and iii) inviting your Agents on NIC.

The information provided will be used to create your Distributor Profile and help us understand your organization. You will be able to edit the information once you have access to the NIC Distributor App.

The Distributor Activate Program Fees are comprised of i) One-time setup fees; ii) Distributor User Fees, and iii) no fees for Agent App Users.

SET UP FEES
Set up includes Distributor hierarchy set up, unlimited life data feeds as well as user onboarding and training
There is no additional set up fee for Firms included in the Distributor Hierarchy, fees only apply if the Firm has their own separate hierarchy
Single Sign On (SSO) and Distributor Agent website integration is not included in the one-time set up fees
Distributor mandated additional security audits are not included in the one-time set up fees

Carrier In Force Data Feeds. One-time setup fees include all available life Carrier feeds and any additional life feeds that become available. If you initiate the cancellation of any data feed that you are currently receiving and subsequently request that same feed again be provided, an additional fee of $250/feed will apply to reinstate the feed.
Hierarchy & Agent Network. There are multiple approaches to extract and load your hierarchy information. NIC’s effort is capped at 30 hours, additional time spent, including time for subsequent file loads, will be invoiced at $150.00 per hour.
Distributor Profile Setup. Hours capped at 5. Additional time billed at $150.00 per hour
Staff Onboarding. Hours capped at 20. Additional time billed at $150.00 per hour
Distributor User Training. Hours capped at 5. Additional time billed at $150.00 per hour
The one-time set up fee is payable 50% up-front and 50% once in pre-production.
If all resourced hours are consumed setting up your organization, we will send a notification of such to Your Program Manager.
LIBRA SPECIAL OFFER
As a valued LIBRA partner your one-time set up fee is waived, as long as you meet the following conditions:
You must complete the Activate Program Set Up process before April 30, 2022 including signing data authorization letters for your Carrier partners and signing the NIC MSA (Master Services Agreement), and
You must be in production (live on NIC) before June 30, 2022, which includes; i) providing and validating your hierarchy and ii) providing a list of BGA users to participate in the program (no minimum or maximum number), and
You must have invited at least 10 Agents to the NIC Agent App by August 30, 2022

ACTIVATE PROGRAM MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE

Payment Terms and Notes:
Monthly user fees are paid monthly in arrears using PayPal, NIC will send you an invoice on the last business day of each month.
The Activate Program requires a minimum 12 month commitment after which time the program can be cancelled with 30 days notice.
The 1st payment is due as soon as you have access to NIC pre-production site.
NIC CONFIDENTIALITY STATEMENT
Thank you for your interest in Insured Connect’s NIC Platform. As a part of the setup process, you will be required to provide information relating to your organization’s hierarchy and the carriers with whom you do business. In advance of our joint acceptance of the Insured Connect Master Services Agreement, we make the following commitments to the security of the information you provide:
You own all data that you directly provide to us as part of this setup process.
We will treat the information you provide as Confidential per the definition and terms contained in section 7.1 of our Master Services Agreement, reprinted in full here:
Definition of Confidential Information. Confidential Information means all non-public information disclosed by a Party (“Disclosing Party”) to the other Party (“Receiving Party”). Examples of Confidential Information include, but are not limited to, certain portions of Company Data, customer and supplier lists and employee information, pricing policies, financial information, market analyses, market projections, consulting and sales methods and techniques, expansion plans, internal controls, security procedures, technology and technical information, product plans and designs, and business processes. The restrictions on use and disclosure of Confidential information (other than Company Data) do not apply to any information (i) generally known to the public without breach of any obligation owed to the Disclosing Party (ii) was known to the Receiving Party prior to its disclosure by the Disclosing Party without breach of any obligation owed to the Disclosing Party, (iii) independently developed by or for the Receiving Party or Receiving Party’s employees, consultants or agents without reference to or use of the Confidential Information; or (iv) was lawfully acquired by the Receiving Party from a third party which is not, to the Receiving Party’s knowledge, under an obligation of confidence with respect to such information.
We will take reasonable precautions to protect your information from disclosure, to a degree of care no less than the degree to which we protect our own Confidential Information.
The information you provide to us will be used solely for the purposes of completing your setup on our Platform, including but not limited to the construction of your business hierarchy and establishing data feeds from the Carriers with whom you do business.
If you do not complete, or cancel the setup process, we will promptly delete any information you have provided to us securely and completely
This commitment will be superseded by the Master Services Agreement, which full terms shall apply at the time of joint acceptance.
