In Force Life & Annuity Activate Program Setup Process

STEP 1:

PRIMARY CONTACT & PROGRAM MANAGER INFORMATION

PROGRAM MANAGER

The NIC Program Manager is responsible for; i) getting NIC set up for your firm, ii) onboarding your staff and iii) inviting your Agents on NIC.

DISTRIBUTOR PROFILE

The information provided will be used to create your Distributor Profile and help us understand your organization. You will be able to edit the information once you have access to the NIC Distributor App.

SELECT LIFE CARRIERS

Below is the current list of Life Carriers with which NIC has established in force life data feeds. Select the Carriers applicable to your firm.

Below is the current list of Annuity Carriers with which NIC is working with on established data feeds. Please select the Carriers from this list who you would like to receive data from.

NIC's Life and Annuity Activate Program pricing is comprised of the following fees:

  • Unlimited number of in force life & annuity data feeds from participating Carriers
     

  • Access to the NIC Distributor App Activate Program Features for Distributor users (unlimited number of firms, offices and users as long as they are in the Distributor downline)
     

  • Access to NIC Agent App Activate Program Features with in force life data for Agent users and their support staff

Excludes:

  • Access to the NIC Agent App Activate Program Features with in force annuity data for Agent users and their support staff  
     

  • Engage Program features 
     

  • Add-On Program integrations

SETUP FEE PAYMENT OPTIONS

MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE

$900/month (unlimited Distributor users and life & annuity data feeds)

Payment Terms and Notes:

Set Up Fee Payment Options:​

  • If option 1: initial instalment is due following completion of this set up process, the 2nd instalment is due once you are set up in pre-production.

  • If option 2: initial instalment is due following completion of this set up process and the additional 11 instalments are due on the last business day of each month, starting the 1st month following the completion of this set up process .
     

Monthly Subscription Fees;

  • If option 1: annual subscription fee is due once you have access to your in force data in production.  

  • If option 2: monthly subscription fees are due on the last business day of each month, starting the 1st month following production (the 1st month subscription fees shall be adjusted to reflect the number of business days in the month)  
     

  • The Activate Program requires a minimum 12 month subscription after which time it can be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice.

  • Pre-production is an application that enables you to view your hierarchy and in force data for validation purposes.  You cannot invite users to pre-production and your data is only loaded one-time.  Once you have validated that your hierarchy and data are correct, you will be provided access to a production application.

  • Production is an application where you can add users, invite your agents and access current in force data from all of your data partners.

NIC CONFIDENTIALITY STATEMENT

Thank you for your interest in Insured Connect’s NIC Platform. As a part of the setup process, you will be required to provide information relating to your organization’s hierarchy and the carriers with whom you do business. In advance of our joint acceptance of the Insured Connect Master Services Agreement, we make the following commitments to the security of the information you provide:

 

  1. You own all data that you directly provide to us as part of this setup process.
     

  2. We will treat the information you provide as Confidential per the definition and terms contained in section 7.1 of our Master Services Agreement, reprinted in full here:
    Definition of Confidential Information. Confidential Information means all non-public information disclosed by a Party (“Disclosing Party”) to the other Party (“Receiving Party”). Examples of Confidential Information include, but are not limited to, certain portions of Company Data, customer and supplier lists and employee information, pricing policies, financial information, market analyses, market projections, consulting and sales methods and techniques, expansion plans, internal controls, security procedures, technology and technical information, product plans and designs, and business processes. The restrictions on use and disclosure of Confidential information (other than Company Data) do not apply to any information (i) generally known to the public without breach of any obligation owed to the Disclosing Party (ii) was known to the Receiving Party prior to its disclosure by the Disclosing Party without breach of any obligation owed to the Disclosing Party, (iii) independently developed by or for the Receiving Party or Receiving Party’s employees, consultants or agents without reference to or use of the Confidential Information; or (iv) was lawfully acquired by the Receiving Party from a third party which is not, to the Receiving Party’s knowledge, under an obligation of confidence with respect to such information.

  3. We will take reasonable precautions to protect your information from disclosure, to a degree of care no less than the degree to which we protect our own Confidential Information.

  4. The information you provide to us will be used solely for the purposes of completing your setup on our Platform, including but not limited to the construction of your business hierarchy and establishing data feeds from the Carriers with whom you do business.

  5. If you do not complete, or cancel the setup process, we will promptly delete any information you have provided to us securely and completely

This commitment will be superseded by the Master Services Agreement, which full terms shall apply at the time of joint acceptance.
